Happy Monday, everyone! How was your weekend? Hope it was great, for ours was!

Well, we believe we deserved it. It was quite a busy week, frankly. At least two projects are done here in iCreativelabs.

First we created Jamitbox. It is a one stop spot where you can find awesome themes for your Jamit Job Board sites. But we are still perfecting it here and there. Be patient, it will be launched real soon.

Second was 5 custom Wordpress themes we created for some clients. They were Danville Yoga Center, Koloniel, Weed Tracker, Gadnix and Environmental Service.

Those themes were quite new challenges for us since we were so used to build sites from the scratch. But hey, we were, are, and will always be perfectly fine with challenge. And you can see what we’ve done with those 5 custom Wordpress themes. Not bad, eh?

Submitting ideas for Google new favicon isn’t easy, besides that Google logo has been very close to everyone’s heart and mind along these years, also because I didn’t get used to design in such small size. Some designs looks good in minimum 64×64 pixels but once I turn it into standard 16×16 size for favicon, even I myself can’t barely recognize what it is.

Finally I only submit two ideas for Google favicon. These two came from the same idea, adapting the original Google favicon form and combine the whole colors identical to Google, to be the background or be the inside color of the ‘G’ itself. It is made very simple to be easily recognized and remembered.

Changing logo, as the new identity of a brand will always cause a huge wave at first either likeness or dislikes. But as time goes by, as people’s mind and heart get used to it, a majority group between the two responses will automatically formed. Most of the time people get used to it and getting comfortable with the new one. This dillematic circle of responses will continue as the logo being re-designed in the future.

We’ve built Jamit Job Board official site since May 2007 and now they have great web 2.0 style site. Jamit Job Board is a web application for running and managing a Job Board. It is written in PHP and supported with MySQL database. It is a complete script for those who wants to run a professional Job Board website, and you can find jamit features here. Our roles in this project are design concept in psd (adobe photoshop) and convert into xhtml and CSS (tabless). You can see the Jamit earlyconcept below :

3. DVD box, CD box, CD sleeve and CD label for 6 games ( Gun bound, Rakion, Wolf Team, Granado Espada, Maple Story , and Nostale)

its not easy thing to do, coz we must make this new brand more freshly and catchy than the old version. but we just enjoy with our lovely job and have a fabulous time scratching design ..
